My blouses are top quality completely hand-sewn and hand embroidered on the finest gauze cotton with cotton and/or silk thread, they are pure art. The blouses are decorated with rich traditional motives which can be traced hundreds of year back in history. Some of the motives have names like “The Destiny Wheel”, “The Chamomile”, “
The Comb
”, " The Stars " ," The Flowers in Lace " , " The Eagle  "  and it takes a embroiderer over one month of work to finish one garment, so intricate and fine is the pattern. There is no sewing machine involved, everything is hand done.
The colors and intricacy of a genuine  Romanian peasant blouse, the beauty and the perfection of the Romanian embroidery are all that can complete your charm and chic.

Hand Embroidered Romanian Peasant / Boho / Folk Blouse
Description
Very old traditional Romanian costume handmade in Transylvania, Bihor. Most likely dated in 1930-1960.
It is hand-embroidered  on hand woven fabric. The fabric is thick, similar to denim.
Splendid hand embroideries with white cotton on shoulders , cuffs , sleeves , chest and lower part of skirt .
Fits M or M-L .
Measurements:
neck 34 cm / 13.38 inches . It is closed with strings so will fit to a larger neck too
from neck to shoulder' s seam  : 15 cm / 5.9 inches . On this seam the circumference is 34 cm or 13.4 inches . This is the smallest size of the Bihor costumes .This blouse fit on M-L size because we tried to be sure about this .
sleeve length from neck : 68 cm / 26.77 inches + frill
shoulders : 52 cm or 20.47 inches
blouse length : 42 cm / 16.5 inches
around chest : 140 cm or 55  inches
The skirt is length: 68 cm (26.77 inches) + high waist
waist circumference max 90 cm (35.43 inches). It fits at a smaller waist because the waist  must be overlapped  .
The mannequin is 61-63 cm (24 inches - 25 inches) and this skirt slightly loose fits . The slit should be zipped or buttoned. Normally, when worn as a traditional costume, the slit is placed in front and then covered with aprons.
the circumference of the skirt at the hem is about 280 cm or 110 inches
Good to very good condition with no noticeable flaw . Clean and professionally reconditioned. You can see that it is a very old costume
It is wearable but I also recommend it to collectors or museums as a typical Bihor costume. It is a splendid example of BIHOR costume
