TS401 Description
TPMS SENSOR ACTIVATION:
This hand-held Autel TS401 works on 98% of the vehicle models on the market, and is aimed at activating all magnetic, frequency, and tire deflation triggered sensors used on Vehicle Tire Pressure Management System.
MX-SENSOR PROGRAMMING:
The TS401 is also a tire sensor program tool that supports programming for AUTEL MX-Sensor, just by scanning TPMS sensor ID and copying ID into MX-Sensor(Manually input OE ID into MX-sensor or automatically create sensor ID).
INFORMATION RETRIEVAL:
In order to get a clear picture of the tire sensor, this TPMS tool is designed with the function of reading sensor data, to get information including sensor ID, tire pressure, tire temperature, sensor battery, and frequency.
RELEARN AFTER REPAIR:

Why You Need TS401?

TPMS Function
The function of TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) is to automatically monitor the tire pressure in the process of vehicle running, and to alarm the tire leakage and low air pressure to ensure safe driving. The TS401 has functions about TPMS such as Activation, Relearn, and Read sensor data.
Activation function is to allow the sensor to send a signal, so that the car receiver can get the sensor information, such as tire pressure, temperature and battery status, which can be used to detect the sensor is normal;
The Relearn function allows the sensor ID to match the ID stored in the TPMS ECU to correctly display the tire pressure and temperature parameters of each wheel, allows you to directly read feedback from all 4 sensors, clearly view the status of all TPMS sensors, and compare sensor and ECU data to instantly pinpoint system faults;
Read sensor data including sensor ID, tire pressure, temperature, battery condition, OEM part number, OEM sensor maker and OEM frequency.

Autel MX-Sensor 433MHz Original Equipment Tire Pressure Monitoring System Sensor (Metal Stem QTY of 4)

Installation Process:
1.Loosen the tire: remove the valve cap and core and deflate the tire.
2.Dismounting the tire: Clamp the tire onto the tire changer, and adjust the valve at 1 o’clock relative to the tire separation head. Insert the tire tool and lift the tire bead onto the mounting head to discount the head.
3.Dismounting the sensor: With a screwdriver remove the fastening screw and sensor from the Valve stem. Then loosen the nut and remove the valve.
4.Mounting sensor and valve: Slide the valve stem through the valve hole of the rim. Tighten the screw-nut with 4.0 Nm with the help of the positioning pin. Assemble the sensor body against the rim and tighten the screw.
5.Mounting the tire: Place the tire on the rim, making sure that the valve faces the separation head at an angle of 180°. Mount the tire over the rim.

2.Make sure to program the sensor by AUTEL sensor programming tools for your specific vehicle make, model and the year before installation
3.Do not install programmed TPMS sensor in damaged wheels
