    RULER: K'ang-te (Ruled from 1934 to 1945).
    Note: This puppet emperor went under the assumed name of K'ang -te
    who was previously the last emperor of China (P'u-yi or Hsuan-t'ung, 1909-1911).
    OBVERSE: Lotus flower
    REVERSE: Pearl above value between facing dragons.
    Note: In 1932 Japan seized military occupation of the Three Eastern
    Provinces in North East China and named them Manchukuo--therefore
    becoming a puppet state of Japan--1932 to 1945. Two different chinese were
    assigned to this area as "chief executives" to add an aura of legitimacy
    to the area. This area was returned to China after WW II.
